Setting Up the Multi-Brand System
The foundation of this system relies on our existing social media blueprint, which uses a private Slack channel for content input and Airtable for content management. The original system scrapes content and generates relevant posts for different social networks, but needed modification to handle multiple brands.
Modifying the Airtable Base
To adapt the system for multiple brands, the key change is adding a brand selector field in Airtable. This new single-select field allows you to assign each content piece to a specific brand, enabling proper content distribution to the correct social media accounts.
Scenario Configuration
The process involves:
- Cloning the original scenario for each brand
- Adding brand-specific filters to the Airtable trigger
- Connecting each scenario to the appropriate social media accounts for that brand
Scheduling and Automation
The scheduling system allows for flexible timing options, including:
- Multiple runs per day
- Specific days of the week
- Regular intervals (e.g., every 3 hours)
- Custom time windows
Important Configuration Tips
When setting up your scenarios, it’s crucial to set the limit to one in your trigger settings to prevent multiple posts being published simultaneously. This ensures a more natural posting pattern and prevents overwhelming your social media feeds.
